If you're looking for a way to get more leafy greens into your diet, you'll love this apple & kale smoothie!
Kale is in season in the UK right now and is rich in vitamins A, K, C and B6, as well as manganese, calcium, copper, potassium and magnesium.
That's a win-win if we ever did see one!
INGREDIENTS
- 40g Purition Mac & Vanilla/Vanilla
- 200ml milk (we used almond)
- 60g curly kale
- Juice of ½ lemon
- ½ apple or banana (optional)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional)
- Add ice if you want it a bit colder
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add all of the ingredients to your blender
- Blend for at least 45 seconds, or until smooth
- Pour into a glass and enjoy!
TIPS & SWAPS
- No Vanilla? This could work well with our Pistachio, Banana or Almond flavours, too!
